A UNIQUE CHALLENGE LIKE NO OTHER
On May 17th, we’re embarking on the ultimate 24-hour fitness challenge:
Heavy Long Way Home
This epic adventure begins on the Bonnie Banks of Scotland in Ardlui, taking us on a grueling journey through strength, endurance, and sheer determination:
Strength: We’ll kick off with a combined 1820 lbs weightlifting supertotal, harnessing raw power and teamwork between two athletes.
Endurance: From there, we’ll hit the water, kayaking an incredible 36 km from the top of Loch Lomond to its base.
Grit: Finally, we’ll run a staggering 62 km, making our way "home" from Balloch to Falkirk on foot.
All of this must be completed within 24 hours.
This challenge is more than just a test of physical fitness – it’s a celebration of resilience, mental toughness, and the beauty of Scotland’s rugged landscapes.
From the iconic waters of Loch Lomond to the rolling roads back to Falkirk, we’re proving that with determination and heart, no goal is out of reach.

We are fundraising for Beat, the UK's eating disorder charity. Beat supports anyone with an eating disorder, their friends and family, as well as professionals working with or worried about an individual in their care.
These serious mental illnesses include anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder. 1.25 million people in the UK have a diagnosed eating disorder. They affect people of all ages and backgrounds, and up to one in four sufferers are male. Eating disorders cost the UK's economy £16.8 billion each year.
Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. Over 55,000 women and 390 men a year are diagnosed with breast cancer. Yet around a third of these cases are preventable.
Breast Cancer UK is working to prevent breast cancer through education, scientific research, collaboration and policy change.
Breast Cancer UK provides practical advice and tips on how we can reduce our risk. They campaign for changes to national health policies to support prevention, and fund research to help improve our understanding of how to stop the disease.
